Nature of the Service

Cass County Released Inmates is an independent reference with no government ties. It stores no official jail, court, release, or supervision records. We cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or file a request or court document for a visitor.

The site identifies official Cass County and Texas record channels and may connect visitors with third-party research tools. The originating government office remains the authority for its record.

Acceptable Use Rules

• Do not use the site in violation of any law.
• Do not stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person.
• Do not use site content for employment, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated decision.
• Do not seek access to an account, server, or system without authorization.
• Do not operate bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools.
• Do not interfere with the site's availability or another visitor's use.

No Consumer Reports

Cass County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We and our advertising partners do not supply background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services. You agree not to use site or linked-tool information for an FCRA-covered purpose, including:

• hiring, firing, or another employment decision;
• tenant selection or housing screening;
• creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing;
• licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility; or
• any other decision regulated by the FCRA.

Independent External Links

Links may lead to government release records, sheriff and corrections pages, legal resources, or outside search providers. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control an outside site's content, privacy practices, data handling, prices, or availability. Review that provider's own terms before using it.

No Warranties

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranty concerning:

• accuracy, completeness, or currentness;
• continuous or uninterrupted access;
• freedom from errors, bugs, or security flaws; or

Custody status and public records can change at any time. Nothing on the site is an official statement by a sheriff, jail, court, corrections department, or other government agency.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use of the site or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Original text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Cass County Released Inmates or the applicable content partner. You may not copy, distribute, republish, or modify protected materials without prior written permission.

Suspension of Access

Texas Governing Law

Texas law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Texas.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
